7 Year Anniversary

Tomorrow is mine and Justin's seven year anniversary! I can't believe we have been married that long, it has gone by so fast. So for our seven years i think i will write seven things about my wonderful husband Justin
1- I love how justin still tries to make me laugh every day, even though I usually just get mad at him when he does.
2- He always knows how to change my mood around, which usually involves finding some chocolate to give to me.
3- Justin has a very tender heart and he knows how to make people feel special, I love that about him.
4- He is the best dad i could have ever asked for. The kids adore him and i know that he loves them. He works hard to give us everything our family needs.
5- He is also a wonderful husband, he still makes me feel like i am his princess.
6- He helps me be a better person and helps me achieve my goals
7- I still think he is a hotty, and I love him more and more every day!
So happy anniversary honey! I hope i didn't embarrass you by telling everyone how great you are :)

Happy Birthday Kyler!!

Yesterday my little Kyler turned 1 year old. I can't believe my baby is a year! Early in the day the whole family came over and watched me play in a CEU alumni game. it was lots of fun, I am getting old though, the old body just doesn't move like it used to. I wasn't feeling too bad until Sydney came down to me and said "mommy, I saw you and you weren't going very fast" and that says it all, leave it up to a kid to tell you the truth! It was still fun though. Josh and ali came too and then they came over to the house for a little party for Kyler. He is such a cute little stinker. I think my favorite thing about Kyler is how easily it is to make him laugh. He kindof laughs like and old man who has smoked his whole life, but I think that it is so cute. He loves to see balls bouncing, well anything going up in the air, he likes throwing things just to see them drop, and he loves riding on the four wheeler with his dad. He loves to give kisses and he loves his sisters. He has been such a joy in our lives and has such a sweet loving little spirit. So happy birthday to my little man! We love him so much!

my new shop

well we finally made it! This feels so great that we have finally moved in. This has actually been like 2 years in the making, first we had to buy land, then build our house then build the garage, so it is so great to finally be in. The shop part isn't completely organized yet but we are getting closer. It has been a long week, me and justin have both been working until like 11:00 every night and we are exhausted. Bear and Justin basically moved every little thing themselves while I boxed and unboxed, and mom watched the kids. (I also managed to decorate for the ward party somewhere in between all the moving too.) It has already been so great though. I feel like my stress levels have gone from like a 10 to a 4 just by having the shop here. The girls have been loving it too. Sydney loves staying in her pj's for half the day and then her and madi just wander around the yard and play on my computer, and play in their room. So it has been worth it. I want justin to know how grateful I am that he did this for me.I feel like I can be a better mom and a wife. I am finally a stay at home mom, that actually stays at home and I am so thankful for that.

BLACK FRIDAY!!

Every year me and my in-laws go shopping on black friday, but this year we decided to go all out. I woke up at 4:00 am and headed to walmart. It was crazy there. Mostly in electronics, but at one point i just had to ditch my shopping cart and hold my stuff because no one could get through. I just went in my pjs too, which made sense to me at 4:00 in the morning, but by time 11:00 rolled around I felt a little silly, but oh well. So after walmart me an Ali went to Kohl's and there was a line that wrapped around almost half the store to check out. the rest of the stores weren't too bad, but it was actually kind of fun. I think we shopped for a total of 10 hours, and I didn't even get punched or anything! I can't believe we were gone that long but I got a lot of my christmas shopping done! Thanks mom for watching my kids too!

My new calling

Well, last week the bishop called me into his office and told me that they would like to call me as the new enrichment leader, and so i said yes. I was excited because I really would only have to do an activity 4 times a year. So I thought- I can handle that, this is a great calling! Then sunday they are announcing the new people, and they say The new relief society president is... the new first counselor is... and the second counselor is Julianne Orth. So i stand up and they sustain me and I sit down and i was like "justin is that what they called me as?" and he said "well that is what you are now regardless" So I am just in shock, so i talked to the new relief society president and she said that it was right, i am over enrichment, but that is what one of the duties of the second counselor are. So I guess i am the new second counselor. I am excited though. I kind of thought I was going to be the enrichment leader because a few months ago at an enrichment activity they had a senior couple come and tell their experiences in Russia and I told Collette that this was so boring, and I could care less about how people go potty in Russia, and that just because I said that I would probably get called as the enrichment leader and here I am. So be careful what you say, there is always someone listening!

Halloween!

We had a lot of fun this Halloween. On thursday Madison got to go to preschool with Sydney and she was so excited. Then that night we went to the elementary school and played games, then went to the trunk or treat on Friday. We only got one trick or treater at our house though. Justin took the girls around our neighborhood and grandma Karrie and grandpa Dan were here visiting so they went around with them, and Ali and Josh too. I guess at the first house they went to Madison turned around and yelled " they gave me candy!!" how exciting. It was a lot of fun though, and now I have enough chocolate to last me until christmas!

We got Eggs

Well- we are on are way to being self sufficient! Our dumb chickens finally layed some eggs! We were so excited- so if the nuclear bomb hits tomorrow, at least we will have some protein! We have been trying hard to find ways to be self sufficient and so aside from stocking our food storage we have egg laying chickens and meat chickens. "If ye are prepared ye shall not fear" I am still a little scared of killing chickens and eating them though... I think I might become a vegetarian if it comes to that.

Fishing

We went Fishing last weekend at Pete's hole in Joe's Valley and it was a little cold but the kids had a blast! I bought both of the girls barbie fishing poles and they were so excited and all of the kids actually caught a fish! we only fished for probably and hour or so. The fish were just there size too! Madi was so funny too. She starts screaming " I got one, I got a fishy!" but then when she actually saw the fish she started backing up and saying "daddy will you get it?" to make matters worse too, madi wet her pants on the way to the outhouse and had to put on kyler's pants, and Justin forgot a sweater. But we still had a lot of fun.

Sydney has a request

Yesterday me and Sydney were talking and she tells me "mom, I really want to be a mermaid" So I tell her, well if you are a mermaid you have to live in the water and you won't be with your family. So then she says " well, maybe everyone could be mermaids and we could put our house under the water too, that would be fun" So then I tell her, well what if someone doesn't want to be a mermaid? she replies " mom, will you ask everyone if they want to be a mermaid... or a butterfly" (i guess the butterfly would be a good enough trade off if the mermaid thing does not work out) So I told Sydney I would ask everyone if they want to be a mermaid with her. This seemed to be something pretty important to her.

I HATE WINTER!

I hate winter. not only because it is cold and ugly and cold and did i mention cold. I am so sick of my kids being sick! I swear my kids catch every sickness in Carbon County and I am just tired of taking care of sick kids. Sydney was throwing up all day yesterday and Kyler threw up twice. My neighbor had a little jewelry party and I thought i should go just for a minute and I guess one of her girls had been throwing up earlier, and so I thought we would be fine if they just didn't play with that one girl, actually she was downstairs the whole time, but the bug still got us! Ya know i feed my kids healthy, I make them wash their hands, they get plenty of sleep, I clean the shopping carts... I don't know what I do wrong- basically I feel helpless. Even talking to my pediatrician she basically said when you have that many little kids close in age, they just get sick a lot. So if any of you have any tricks of the mommy trade of keeping your kids well, I would love to know. All I know is each winter is getting progressively worse and I really don't think I can handle one worse than last year.

Dancing with Cinderella

My sister posted about this video and it was really touching to me and so i wanted to put it on my blog too. It makes it even more emotional because one of the girls he wrote the song for passed away a year after he wrote this song. What a touching song though, I am sitting here at work listening too it and trying not to cry in case a customer walks in, but it is such a sweet song. My girls love to play dress up every day, every second of the day, and it just made me realize how i need to appreciate these moments while they last.

Julianne & Justin visit the Eiffel Tower - Las Vegas Style

The picture of the Eiffel tower is from our hotel room and the picture's of the city are from the top of the tower. Sorry the pictures struggle they are from my cell phone. I forgot my stupid camera!

Vegas!

Well we just got back from a quick trip to Las Vegas with some of our friends- Mike and Colette. We only were down there for like a day and a half but we had a blast. It was great, we got to leave all the little kids home too- I don't think me and Justin have been on a trip without kids since I had Sydney so it was awesome. We stayed in the Paris and our room looked right out over the whole city and at the Eiffel Tower, it was gorgeous! We got to do a little shopping and that night Justin gave me the sweetest surprise ever. He was so sneeky too... I guess he and mike had been planning this all day and we didn't have a clue. Me and Colette were all dressed up because we had just gone to this really nice dinner (payed for by the convention that we had gone down to go to for mike's business) so we are just walking around the casino and they tell us that they have tickets to go up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. So it takes forever to get us up there because we had to go in a special part because of Mike's wheelchair, so after like 20 minutes someone finally gets us in the elevator and takes us up. It is an incredible view and me and Justin start talking about when we came here on our Honeymoon and then he tells me that he never really did anything special for our five year anniversary so he wanted to get me something and so he pulls out a box and i open it up and it is a diamond bracelet! and of course i look at the box and it says Kay Jewelers and i say " wow this is from a real jeweler" and then I look at it and I realize "wow- these are real diamonds!" I was completely blown away. It was the sweetest most romantic thing anyone has ever done for me. It was funny too cuz everyone was looking at us like he was proposing to me or something. It was so sweet though, I would have been happy with a $20 cubic zirconium, but oh well- don't tell Justin that! It was a great trip all together though. I loved spending time with my honey and not having to worry about the kids and just remembering how much we love each other. Justin really got me on this one, I was speechless to say the least. Thanks for a great trip Mike and Colette, and Justin!

Sisters

Our little Ballerina

This is why you have girls!

Vacation and Garage

We have been so busy lately, i haven't even had time to post anything! We just got back from a vacation with Justin's family in Island park. We had a blast (other than the three visit's to the insta-care for sick kids...) so yes we had really whinny kids for a few days, but we didn't let it ruin our fun. The house was BEAUTIFUL that we stayed in and we were walking distance from the lake. We also visited Yellowstone, and The bear discovery museum ( or whatever it is called...) We went to Mesa Falls, which was georgous, and did a lot of practicing on my guitar hero skills. The kid's had so much fun playing with their cousins, they made picture frames and got little pedicures from Ali.The guys ditched us a few times to go fishing, golfing and to get lost on a 4 wheeler ride. Sydney and Madison had a blast on the Wave runners too, they like to go fast (they get that from their dad)We had so much fun, But eventually we had to come back to normal life which is always hard, Justin, Bear and Nate went to work on the garage, it is coming along, I am so excited for it to be done, Justin is doing an amazing job building it.

Garage is getting closer!

Sydney getting ready for her big dance!

Sydney and Molly got to go to a little Jr. Cheerleading camp, they learned a dance and got to go in the parade for International days, they also get to preform at halftime of a Carbon High game. They were so cute, Sydney is just like me- she never has a clue what she is doing, but she sure tries hard!

Island Park Vacation!!
